Spanish Navy – Sarkar Ballistic Floatation Vests

Spanish Navy were looking for a lightweight modular solution for their Coastal Patrol personnel and Boarding Teams.  Our BFV110 Ballistic Floatation Vest fitted the bill perfectly.  Made with 1000D PU coated Cordura® with MOLLE, the cover has secure attachments for a lightweight life jacket.

The modular design makes vest is extremely versatile and can be used with or without a Life Jacket.  The Ballistic panels are ultrasonicallysealed in NIJ 06 complaint covers.  The vests were delivered with Sarkar Level IV ICW Ceramic Plates.

US Army – Demining Suits

Sarkar Defence delivers 40 full demining ensembles to US Army in Iraq. It was an emergency and the US Army needed the suits delivered within 3 weeks. We took on the challenge and worked 14 hour days to get all the items in Baghdad in time.

The suits were made with100% Nomex® Comfort fabric and included DuPont Kevlar® ballistic panels, ultrasonically sealed in PU coated and fire retardant covers. Delivered complete with demining helmets, visors and boots, our suits are now in service with US Army Deminers and IED search teams all over Iraq. We thank the US Army for putting their faith in us.

Kansas City Police Tactical Team

Kansas City Police Tactical Team are very pleased with their new Ballistic Shields. The tactical unit needed a lightweight design with enhanced protection. Sarkar's Level 3+ ballistic shields - (Dyneema® Composite) with protection from AK47 and SS109 projectiles were just right for the job. The shields featured a curved design, large viewing window and ambidextrous handling system.

The shields were covered with Fire Retardant and PU coated ultra-durable fabric ensuring they perform consistently in the harshest of conditions. We thank Tammy Shaw, Dorothy Pope and other members of the Mid America Regional Council (MARC) for their great help and support in making this order run smoothly. We look forward to being of service to MARC again very soon.

Sarkar awarded contract for Peruvian Army

Sarkar awarded contract for Peruvian Army. In trials, Sarkar Defence Helmets out-performed all the competition. The contract for 1,000 Advanced Combat Helmets was awarded to Sarkar in a formal signing ceremony in Lima. The helmets are expected to be delivered in lima in April 2011.

Sarkar Defence helmets pass FSP and RCC fragments. United Test Labs in Kansas successfully tested Sarkar Defence helmets for 2gr, 4gr, 16gr & 64 gr RCC and 17gr FSP fragments to MIL-STD-662F standard. Full test report available on request.
